This is a fun project as a first introduction to genetics for students to write out the possible combinations of alleles for certain traits of a "monster" then the students make their monsters out of construction paper. The handout includes Directions, data tables, and a rubric for grading. Very fun activity.

I downloaded your monster genetics a couple of weeks ago...you talked about a template but there wasn't one there. (I'm anxious to try this instead of "human" offspring) :D

I have been a teacher for 20 years. Most of this time has been spent teaching high school physics but for the last 5 years I have taught an integrated math/science core class to eighth grade students.
