I made this monster themed math pack to help my students review some of the important concepts and skills taught during our math lessons throughout the year. This packet was designed based on the Common Core Standards for first graders. In my classroom, I use the monster math pages as morning work or as a daily review or warm up during math time. The problems are designed to review and reinforce specific mathematical concepts and skills. My first grade students start using the monster math pages mid-way through the year. There are 20 different student pages included in this packet. This packet would also be appropriate to reinforce and review mathematical concepts at the beginning of second grade.

Thank you for the variety of concepts. I use Daily Oral Math but wanted something else short and sweet. I have a class of 17 boys so this is right up their alley. Not to say my 7 girls won't enjoy it too but oh those boys. Perhaps if you get a chance you could add coin counting. I realize the topics are endless in math, so thanks again.

Hi! I really like your Common Core Math review using Monsters. Just wondering if you have any other CC monster inspired packs or the "I can" student objectives. If not, do you plan on making any or know anyone that may have any. I have seen these packets for Kinder, 2nd, and 3rd but not 1st grade. Thank you!
