Read and Write the Room is an essential part of our literacy program.
My students Read and Write the Room every week!

This activity gets children up and moving as they search the classroom for colorful monsters containing 24 of the easiest sight words. The kiddos love it, and it gives me a chance to individually assess mastery of sight words.

Directions for use, Recording Sheets, and Common Core Standards are included.
