This activity is set in the year 2025. Robotic crawlers dot the moon's surface and send seismic data back to Earth so that we can record the exact locations and frequency of meteorite impacts on the moon.
This is the third and final step in our Moon Tremors activity sequence, and is a great cross-curricular exercise in geology, astronomy, and math. Each of the three attached tremor data sheets is composed of four clearly marked pages. Trim, match, and paste these four pages together, and then laminate. Repeat for the other two tremors, and you are ready to go! This is a fun activity!
