ALIGNED with the ELA COMMON CORE STANDARDS! Students love to tag one another in pictures on Facebook. By using that same concept in a novel study or in history, students will match up characters/historical figures to various cartoon, movie, and TV show characters. They have to justify their choices, which allows them to create their own similes and metaphors for each character.
It's a fun activity & definitely one the students understand! Works well for review.
This edition includes: Glee cast of characters, Sports Mascots, Smurfs, Star Trek, Video Game characters, Cosby Show, PEZ dispensers, Lady Gaga, and so many more! Over 35 pages of character printables.

I've been teaching at my current public high school for twelve years, and have a total of 16 years experience. Most of my experience is teaching high school English and journalism classes; however, for several years I taught an art history class. I teach all levels--from honors students to special education students; therefore, I'm constantly modifying my assignments to fit my students' needs.
