Here's my second package of free frames and borders. I included the terms of use, so please make sure to read them. These may be used for commercial products with a link back. Thanks so much & enjoy!

Hi Tracee, I love the frames! Can you tell me how to fill it in microsoft word so the background is white and the patterned paper doesn't show through? Thanks!

There should be another frame within that package that has the white center; if not, just change it to a .jpg and it will fill in automatically. You can download my free "How to use frames/borders in Microsoft Word" for help, as well. -Tracee

Thank you for your freebie and your WONDERFUL materials on TPT!
Please do not fret over this redundant question...but my computer is a Dell and I'm working with Microsoft Office 2007. When I try to download the free frames, Microsoft WORD does open, unfortunately a script error box pops up and says the freebie frames cannot be saved due to empty contents. I really would LOVE to figure this out so I can use these adorable frames you have made! I've looked over your "How to" but could not find the answer. Any suggestions for a newbie?
Thanks a million!!!
Julie

Hi Julie! I'm sorry you are having problems. They are not saved in Microsoft Word. They are saved as images, so to actually open & save the frames themselves, you would need photo/image software like Photoshop or whatever you might use to look at images (if you have a digital camera, whatever program you use for that would open & save the images). It sounds like perhaps your Dell is not recognizing either the zipped file & extracting the frames (I guess PCs have to have special software to open zipped files...somewhere in the questions below there is a link for the free download for that), OR it is just not recognizing the images once they are extracted. I would try importing them into your photo software, or use a free online program like Picasa or PhotoBucket. Then you can download & save from there. I hope that helps! -Tracee

Might be a silly question, but what do I do after I've downloaded?

Not at all! They are image files, so you'll want to place them into the word processing document that you'd like to use them in. Here's a tutorial (free download) on how to use frames/borders in Microsoft Word (or a similar program - most work the same): How to use Frames/Borders in Microsoft Word
