This morning meeting board is the perfect way to keep all of your students engaged during your morning meeting or calendar time! While a student manipulates your calendar at the board, students can be completing these pages independently, keeping engagement at a maximum! Fonts are by Kevin and Amanda (www.kevinandamanda.com) and polka dot borders are by Karen Cox (http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Polka-Dot-Classroom-Labels).

I love the idea of my students being able to interact with the calendar if they aren't at the smartboard! Are the page examples that we see the only things that the students are interacting with or are there other skills that you created pages for?
Thank you for your question! The pages you see in the preview are the only pages in the document (I print it front/back for easy use with my kids). Thank you!

This is an awesome calendar! Do you have the ActivBoard file available for sale on TpT to go along with the student worksheets?
At this point, I do not have the file for sale because I used several DJ Inkers images on my slides and I don't want to violate their copyright. So sorry! If I make a new one, I will definitely post it though!

This is a fabulous idea! My question is do you think this will work even if I dont have an interactice board. My calendar, morning meeting time is used from my bulletin baord, covering most of these academic areas:) I feel that evethough time is a factor, thsi calendar time is important even in 2nd grade. About how long does this time take you? Thanks so much!

I absolutely think it would work! Anything that would allow your kids to feel independent and individual is a success! Typically, my calendar time lasts about 20-35 minutes, and the big gap is dependent on school happenings mainly. I hope that you would be able to use it! My kids LOVE it (even at the end of the year) and I'm sure your kids would too!

I love your morning meeting board! Do you happen to know which font from Kevin and Amanda you used? I want to make matching SmartBoard slides.
