This is a zip file that contains a SMART Notebook file (for SMART Boards) and an ActivInspire file (for Promethean Boards) with activities for Morning Meeting/Calendar Math. It includes slides for Morning Message, Class Pledge, Monthly Calendar, Write the Date, Days of the Week, Days in School Hundreds Chart, Days in School Money, Weather and Weather Chart. It includes monthly calendar pages and Write the Date pages for August 2012 through June 2013. There is also a Teacher's Guide and a file that includes reproducible student worksheets of the monthly calendars, hundreds chart and weather chart. You will need to do a Google search for the "Print Clearly" font and upload it to your computer before using the file. This file is best viewed in full screen mode.

Why are there missing letters on every page, it's like the words are cut off and the numbers look like part of them are missing also. I like your calendar, but I can't use it like this. On my board it reads-Today is Wednesda

This can easily be fixed. You need to download the "Print Clearly" font and load it to your computer. You can find it here:

After you do this, the pages should appear correctly. Please let me know if you continue to have problems.

Hi Hope! Hope your year is off to a good start. I am writing to ask a question about your 2012-13 Morning Calendar. I am trying to drag the coins to show the number of days we have been in school. I can not drag any more than 3 pennies and 2 dimes (I know that is ahead of my self, but I thought I would try it). Do you know why this is happening? I also am having a problen typing my Class Pledge. Everytime I finish, and try to move on, the text goes away. I am in design mode, but it still happens. Any suggestions?

For the text problem with the class pledge/morning message:
If using ActivInspire: select the text box and right click, then go to "reorder" and select "to top layer." That should make the text stay on the top and visible.
If using Smart Notebook: Select the text box and right click, then to to "order" and select "bring to front."
I am working on the coin problem and as soon as I have a solution I will let you know. For now, you may just need to copy and paste the coins. I may have to fix it and upload a new file.
