Mothers will be amazed at how beautiful a pin made by elementary children can be.
First, trace a flower shape on a stiffer piece of paper. Then trace a smaller version of the same shape onto a patterned piece of paper. I found suitable paper at Archiver's. Children should cut out flower shapes and glue the smaller shape onto the larger one. Next, put a round sticker of matching color on top of the patterned flower. To add some depth, I found white circular stickers with silver rim at JoAnn Fabrics. The cherry on the top of this craft is a colored jewel that was added to the top. These sticker jewels can be found in small sheets in any craft store. A colored safety pin was attached to the back so moms could proudly wear them on Mother's Day!
