Watching a movie in class? Does your administration want your kids to be doing something other than just 'watching' the movie? Well, here are some organizers to help your students reflect on what they are watching.
These are basic organizers that include topics such as writing vocabulary from the movie, character traits, facts from the movie, opinion of the movie, setting and how it changed throughout the movie, and telling about the beginning, middle, and end of the movie.
All of these organizers have cute graphics related to movies and the movie theater.
Super wonderful way to integrate film into literacy!

I'm so glad to see this. Ii try hard to get some of my students to understand that writing is just "talk" written down. I think stories on video is a great way to teach that.
What a fun way to have students interact with a movie! Recently, my students watched The Lion King as a fun day activity. For the first 10 minutes of the movie they had to list 6 nouns they saw. :)
