This is a way to make mulitplying fractions fun using the SMARTBoard. Students are given a recipe and then asked to mulitply the fraction ingredients to increase the recipie. Multiple word problems are included, all based on recipes asking students to multiply fractions.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 1st grade general ed, 3rd and 4th inclsuion, and I am currently teaching a 5th/6th special education class for students with mild LD. The activities I put on here, I have used and have been successfully. They are visually stimulating and interactive. They can work for many levels and are well liked by students. Easy to use, great for observations and everyday teaching on the go..Enjoy!
