TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been employed as an educator for six years but I have been teaching all my life. I love letting the creativity flow and making lessons come alive. I deeply enjoy seeing the students get excited about what they are doing and then making real world connections with the content. I have worked to develop teacher friendly data collection tools, Response to Intervention support and training, and units centered around the Common Core Curruiculum. I have written and presented education reform proposals that have been reviewed and received favorably by the Georgia Department of Education. I currently work as a 2nd grade teacher with the possibilities of future leadership opportunities.
