Much more fun than a boring worksheet, this coloring sheet requires students to answer 10 multiplying mixed numbers and fractions problems. Students have two choices for answers for each problem, one of which is a distractor (common error/mistake). Each answer tells the student to color a specific region on the accompanying color sheet a specific color. Easy to grade, just look at how the sheet is colored! Answer key is provided. Both Word and PDF versions are provided.

This was challenging and fun! My students really enjoyed the worksheet and were motivated to complete it. Thank you for providing "fun" math worksheets for older students. Big kids like to color, too! :)

Number 10 is incorrect. The answer should be 21 and 2/3 = 63 and 2/3. This was not an answer choice. Please fix and send the corrected version as something I can download.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have 18 years of teaching experience, 4 years in elementary 14 in middle school. After 6 years of teaching Algebra 1 GATE and pre-algebra, I took on a new position as a math intervention specialist helping struggling math students, preparing lessons for teachers, and team-teaching with classroom math teachers. This year, I am also teaching an algebra 1 part 2 class. I truly believe in the necessity of teaching the "why" of mathematics. My favorite moments are the "Oh, now I get it!" ones.
