If you do not agree with this topic, you do not have to use it. It was designed for an International School environment, but I do believe it would be beneficial for students in America to be aware of holidays celebrated by people all around the world. I would use it in the schools I taught in America.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Math, English Language Arts, EFL - ESL - ELD

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
