Synopsis: Did you know that spiders are arachnids and not insects? How can you tell the difference? You can learn this and more in this nonfiction book on spiders.
This product introduces you to vocabulary and helps you learn the meaning of the new words in a meaningful way. You will be making your very own book about Spiders. Use the book Spiders by Gail Gibbons and the words in the Word Bank to complete the sentences. You will have to use the book to look up information for some of the pages. Be sure to draw a picture on each page that matches the information. After you have filled in everything, cut each page in half. Put the pages together and staple them like a book.

I appreciate your comments. You are correct, their are many ways to assess children comprehension. It is very hard to find one individual product that does everything. All we offer is a piece that can be encorporated into a teacher's classroom. I hope this piece helps in your teaching. Have a happy holidays and a great rest of the school year.
