I use this when we are studying insects. This helps keep me on track for lessons and daily activities. Students create their very own caterpillar journal. This is a 12 page journal that can be stapled together or reduced to half sheets and folded to create a science notebook. Activities include naming, drawing a labeling a caterpillar. They will complete the physical and behavioral observation that the caterpillars demonstrate. K-W-L, writing a story about caterpillars, the life cycle of the caterpillar, drawing and labeling a butterlfy are also included.
