This student-made mini book will have your class beaming with pride that they can identify and count coins! Each child's booklet will be unique as students problem solve and choose which coins and how many to put on each page. Children use higher order thinking skills as they complete the activity and teachers can easily see mastery of coin identification as well as counting values of a group of coins.
This activity, created by Terry Palmieri, can be used in a center, as a small group or whole class project, or as a review of skills.
