I love your product! Just one suggestion - For the vocabulary words, it would be nice for the words to be capitalized only if it is a proper noun... Some of my kids get confused when words they're focusing on are capitalized and shouldn't be. Thank you for sharing!

This has been so beneficial to my lessons this year. The parent's list is part of my take home packet and the standards are easy to post for reference throughout the week. I have used the words for the word wall after we review and understand them. All used for formative assessments as we cover the standards for our grade level

Thank you so much for this wonderful download! Wow! Maybe I'm asking a silly question, but can you explain how I use it, what I need to actually print and xerox for my students. When I started to print it told me there are 490 pages and obviously that is too many pages to print for each kid. :-) Thanks for your guidance!

Hi Katje! OH my goodness....no. You don't need to print all 490 pages. The second half of the notebook is a reduced ink option for those not wanting the notebook background. It is a duplicated version. Parts of the download are posters for EQ's, others will be pages for your student's notebooks, others are resources for you. I would recommend you read through the resources to pick and choose which items you would like to use. Most teachers don't use all components...they pick and choose what works best for their students. Let me know if you have questions. We still use Georgia standards for Science/S.S. here in Georgia, so my plan is to integrate those skills/standards into my ELA/writing CCSS standards as much as possible. Hope this helps. Actually, I have had several requests for these and I would love to provide you all with the template for your own EQ cards and word wall cards to support the cards that come with the packet. Hi, I am new to this site and was brought here after seeing a pin of your common core 3rd grade notebook on Pinterest. Our district is just now adopting CC standards and I haven't had any training about how to get started with my kiddos.
