This is a great introduction, lesson, or math center on fractions. Included in this set:
~a 25 page booklet (these are 1/2 sheets) that goes over quarters, thirds, halves, and wholes. There is a page that introduces the fraction and what it looks like. The students then cut and paste fractions onto the pages. Some of them they have to color in, and some they have to circle the fractions. VERY INTERACTIVE! Great for a journal station!
~5 printables (posters) for your classroom. There can be printed small or large!
~3 fraction worksheets. You can use these as a grade or for review.
This is a wonderful set for your kindergarten, first grade, or even second grade students! They will love it and it is quick and easy. No prep time for you besides printing the copies! This can be printed in color or black and white. The kids create the whole booklet!
If you are looking for a fractions unit, be sure and check out my fractions set. This whole book is included! Please check it out at the link below...
Great intro activity. My kids love making their own books. The pictures were really cute!

I like how this book really gets at many of the different parts of fractions and is simple enough to be used at the beginning of a math lesson before the children transition into stations.
This was a great activity for my student in 1st grade. He really learned a great deal about fractions by using your material. Thanks

Used this today - the class really enjoyed! I really liked how whole, halves, fourths, and so on were broken down - a great way to review our chapter on fractions!
