My Mommy Paper Dolls

This product includes 10 artist illustrated pencil drawings of paper doll attire, and beautiful paper doll hairstyles. Each page has its own theme: the 'fancy dresses' page, the 'what coat shall I wear?,' the workout attire page (complete with hoodie, tank top, shorts and tennis shoes), the winter gear page, a page with pajamas, slippers, and a robe, and other items your students, or your own children would need to create a beautiful 'mommy' paper doll. I have had my students write about their mothers, make a paper doll, and put them together for a Mother's Day card. Younger grades could have this paper doll activity as a center that is guided by adults/teacher, and older children have no trouble cutting and assembling their own mommy paper dolls. The file should be reproduced using a light manilla tagboard for the body, and you can print the clothing and hair on copy paper, or on the tagboard! I would also be willing to send you the copies if you do not have access to a printer. You could use these paper dolls for many projects throughout the school year, and my boy students get just as excited about them as the girls do! You could put these pages together with the cover that I have included, making a book which could also be a holiday gift, or an end-of-year gift. Your students could write stories using the paper dolls, the teaching ideas are endless!
