My Name Pattern

Students will practice creating patterns using the letters in their name.
Students will start by writing their name, one letter at a time, in each box. Continue until each box is filled, leaving blank boxes. Next, students will color each letter a different color (ex. all the letter "A" in "Amy" would be colored pink; all the letter "M" would be colored purple, and so on). Discuss the patterns created after all letters are colored.
