This book integrates four different kindergarten curricula. First, it focuses on numbers 26-30. You have to trace each number, write each number, do the ten frames. Next it also integrates plants, and the life cycle of plants. It can also include types of weather (this is optional). You can discuss what type of weather is happening on each page and what it would do to the plants. Last, it integrates writing. At the end of the page the students have to write a sentence about that page.
Example:
On the page for number 27, you would trace 27, write 27, make 27 dots in the ten frame, made 27 again, draw 27 roots. There are already 4 seeds so they just draw the roots coming out of the seeds, then they would color their picture, including the sun, etc. Then they would write a sentence about. Usually my students write something like: I have 27 roots.
