My Summer Words provides your students a place to document all those new words learned while getting ready for summer.
My students complete each page as we cover the new word. They are expected to write a few sentences using the word in context. A simple, "I like the beach" is not accepted.

Very nice; love vocabulary words! Since you do centers, you might like my free first "Learning in Centers." You would need to adapt it by teaching the concept of being responsible for one's own learning but you could use the photos in a center for viewing and conversation. Keep up the good work!
