I have found that communication between home and school is essential for a student's success and a teacher's sanity. This simple to use sheet makes keeping parents up to date with what is taking place in their child's classroom a snap. When parents attend Back to School Night, explain that they will be receiving this sheet each week. Tell them that they should place it on the fridge, to serve as a reminder. Another great idea is to take a picture and make an inexpensive magnet to send home (this is really helpful when there is more than one school age child in the home).
The teacher can fill this sheet out and make copies to distribute to the entire class or the teacher can guide each student or groups of students to help individualize communication.

Is it possible for you to make one with 15 spelling words? We have fifteen words in second and it would be great to still use the weekly fridge facts.
