This is a Powerpoint game where kids purchase zoo animals and solve real-world math problems pertaining to those animals. The focus is on problem solving with adding and subtracting decimal money amounts, as well as using multiplication. This game is integrated with writing as students will be keeping a journal about their adventures. My students LOVE to play zoo math! NOTE: The student booklet pages are sold separately.

I have worked for a school district for over 20 years in various positions,including administrative assistant for curriculum and Title I and office manager of a large elementary school. I have a Masters in Teaching degree from Southern Oregon University. I have been teaching for 10 years. I recently acquired the position of TOSA for technology/math/science at the elementary level.
