There are 8 short a word families: at, an, ag, ad, ab, am, ap, ar
Each word family has 5-9 frogs with the words written on them.
The students will have to read the words on the frogs and place them on the correct lily pad.
There is a worksheet at the end for the students to write the words that they read.
I have also included work mats and letter tiles for each word family.

I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. It is well done.

Here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, make each cover page differen.t This will detinguish a new product from the others so when buyers go to your store, not everything looks the same. It would be like shopping but all you could find were identical red shoes.

Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also, number your pages. I know this seems like a lot, but it will make a difference.

I know you are a primary teacher, but if you have time, I’d love to have your input on one of my freebies listed below. I think it is important to get feedback from different grade levels.

Thank you so much for the great ideas! I will follow all of them :) The directions page and the page numbers are definitely something I should be using. I like the red shoe analogy.
I downloaded your math rubric. I really like the model of how the student's page should look. We model everything in kindergarten and I think it is so important to continue that in the older grades.
