This mystery map is designed to be used as a response to any mystery story presented in the primary grades. Like a regular story map, it asks the reader to identify character and setting as well as the presenting problem the detective needs to solve. The clues the detective finds must be identified and recorded along with any “unexpected twists” that may have led the detective astray. The mystery’s ultimate solution is detailed at the end.

Help
I taught for a total of 32 years, mostly in second grade. After getting my Masters in special education, I spent 5 years as an LD Resource teacher before returning to the regular classroom. I have taught third grade and a multi-age primary class as well.
