This activity could be used along side any episode of Mythbusters. It guides students through the steps of the scientific method as they identify how the Mythbusters develop and carry out an experiment. With nine seasons of videos to choose from, you are likely to find an episode that supports and enhances your science curriculum. This activity could be used as an introduction to the scientific method, as a review, as a reward a the end of a successful physics unit, or as a backup plan for a sub. Many Mythbusters episodes are available for streaming on Netflix, the Discovery Channel website, and in short clips on Youtube.
