These handouts are great for use as lesson extenders when teaching units on the original peoples of North America. They can be used for homework assignments, for projects about the many groups of Native Americans that once lived in this country, and for homeschooling students. The handouts cover the Northeastern Indians, Southeastern Indians, Plains Indians, Southwestern Indians, Northwestern Indians, and Subarctic/Arctic Indians. Questions are formulated in a way that encourage the students to become thorough researchers and writers. They must learn to summarize information and present it in a way that is easy to understand. This is good preparation for end of the year writing tests as well as preparation for the later grades.

Hi Ertimo! Six worksheets are included. I created these for use with my homeschooling son and we found them very useful. We checked out some great booksfrom the library for him to research his answers. Thanks for stopping by my page and I wish you the best! :)

I have taught with Atlanta Public Schools as well as with an independent school. I am currently homeschooling and love it! I have saved everything that I have created for use with my students over the years and would love to share it with my fellow teachers!
