These activities focus on preparing for the task 4 essay on the NYS regents. I try to give my kids ample opportunity to think about HOW one should think about the essay propmts and what to do when presented with prompts that you are unsure about. These simple handouts serve as a stepping off point when kids are introduced to the format and expectations of the exam for the first time.

This was a great tool for prepping for the Regents. Some of the work was less challenging and then other work was quite a bit advanced. I like the change-up and prefer the students are challenged.
