You are getting 7 separate homework sheets for NYS math gr 6.
The homework sheets are cumulative from unit 1 to unit 3. I have found that making homework cumulative has a big advantage over giving them one question type for practice. If a student has trouble with the new lesson, he/she can still complete the rest of the homework. This cuts down on frustration and leads to more confidence. It also helps them by constantly reviewing, which cuts down on review time in May.
Unit 3 topics:
5.N.8 Read, write, and order decimals to thousandths
6.N.27 Justify the reasonableness of answers using estimation (including rounding)
5.N.23 Use a variety of strategies to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals to thousandths
6.N.13 Define absolute value and determine the absolute value of rational numbers
6.N.14 Locate rational numbers on a number line
6.N.15 Order rational numbers (including positive and negative)
I also have more materials to support this unit. (homework sheets, review sheet, and a test)I have a free listing that shows all nine units and the objectives listed in each.
