This literacy work station includes the following areas: Reading, Creation (art), Puppets, Games, Listening, and Writing
A list of books I use is included. Many of them can be found at your local library or on used book websites.
Each station has 8-12 task cards that can be completed independently by students. Ideally, this work station would be set up and available for fast finishers, as well as during social studies or reading time.
Explanations for every activity are included on a separate file called National Parks Literacy Work Stations- Activity Explanations. This is available for download.
All of these activities align with Missouri 3rd grade GLEs, but is easily adaptable for upper grades.
