Calling all Georgia 4th grade teachers! This project is for you (and others, of course). This Native American diorama project is all you need to send home with students. It focuses on the six regions/tribes that we cover in Georgia (or more specifically, Gwinnett county AKS)..Arctic (Inuit), Plains (Pawnee), Southeast (Seminole), Southwest (Hopi), Northwest (Kwakiutl, and Plateau (Nez Perce). Students must follow the guidelines to include representations of the land, housing, food, and clothing, as well as write a paragraph telling about it. There is also a grading rubric for this Native American diorama project. Your kids will love it!
I used this resource to aid in creating a thematic unit. Good resource ... thanks for sharing!

This looks fun and different. I think at this point in the year my class will be able to really get involved.

I have a project similar to this, but this one finished it off! It covered everything, and for a buck 75, I saved myself hours of work! Awesome! THANK YOU!
I have done this N/A project in may own class for years. My students have loved it. We have done it with students creating a power-point of their own Louisiana tribe. They love building what they have learned. I will take some ideas and mold them into what I have been doing and tweak things just a bit. Nice work. - Greg

This is exactly what I was looking for. I did not have to change a thing. Well I did make a list of different tribes and let them choose one besides the one tha was listed on the project. Thanks very useful
