The nature vs nurture (genes vs environment) debate is a staple of social science courses.
This package includes 3 articles on the issues of nature/nurture, an overhead transparency master with break down of debate and mini-activities for students, assignment for work with articles(in groups) and 2 writing assignments. There is also a page on Harry Harlow and his monkey experiments in the 50s for extension.
I used this in a grade 12 course called "Society: Challenge and Change" and a grade 11 course "Introduction to Psycology, Sociology and Anthropology."
The articles can be found elsewhere. Otherwise, there's not much to this, especially for the price!

I am in the midst of my sixth year teaching at the highschool level. My subjects include junior and senior English, the Social Sciences and Canadian Law although I will teach whatever they send my way!
