Two players
Student one sounds out the picture card. (Ex /b//o//a//t/) Student two says the word (boat). If
student says the word correctly then he/she can place a bug in the net or bug box for each phoneme sound in the word. (Ex. Boat has 3)
If not the card has to placed at the bottom of the deck. Both students record the answer on the recording sheet by coloring in the correct number of sounds in the word .
( Nets ,Bug boxes, and bugs can be purchased at the Dollar Tree I have included small bug cards for net or box.)
