This Pack Includes:
*30 New Year Themed Party Hat Center Cards
(4 cards for each short vowel type & 2 of each long vowel)
*B&W printable to use as assessment of mastery (proof of assessment for progress monitoring, RTI, parent reporting, etc!)
~can be programmed to review beginning, middle or ending sound
(or make 3 copies & use same sheet for 3 consecutive days to practice identifying all 3 parts!)
*Use as a ‘workmat’ and use counters/chips to mark answer, laminate and allow students to use dry erase markers to circle answers and/or
cut the hats out and use clothespins to mark the answers!
*Cut, laminate, hole punch (on top of hat) & attach each with a binder clip.
Make several sets-You have an awesome ‘ready-to-go’ center, quick word work activity to use at guided reading group, small group work for small intervals of time, etc!
*Can be used for beginning, middle or ending sound identification which allows for the center to be used multiple times and modified for what each individual student is working on or needs review with!
*Although it says ‘New Years’ can be used throughout the year (party hat)!

Great way to start the year! I use green, yellow and red magnets for students to mark beginning, middle, and ending sounds. Then they write the words!
