This is a two or three part activity designed to launch a unit on Night by Elie Wiesel and review after the unit. It contains two journal/writing activities which can then be used for class discussion and a dramatic reading/performance. The activity will help students make a personal connection with the main character (Eliezer) and review the book after they have finished reading it. The dramatic reading can be very powerful and moving if done well. My students always really enjoyed these activities and I hope yours will too!
