Perfect for the first week of school to teach about appropriate classroom behaviors featuring David from the popular book "No David!" NOTE: This document makes two books). Students cut apart the pictures and then sort them by if they are appropriate classroom behaviors (glue on the "Yes, David! page) and inappropriate classroom behaviors) (glue on the "No, David! page)
If this seems a little too complex for your students I have also created this activity in a one page sorting activity. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/No-David-Classroom-Behavior-Sort
I'm glad you enjoyed it! My kids always got a kick of me making a mess or standing on chairs (even though they knew those were NO DAVIDS!). Funny story: A couple of years ago after I did this and I demonstrated "Yes David"s and "No Davids" I was standing on a counter to reach something on top of a cabinet. All of the sudden I hear one of my students yell out "No David!" Well I guess I got my point across!

Can't wait to use this at the beginning of the school year!
After reading the story, its a lot of fun to play a game I made up called "No David/Yes David!" you go around the room and model behaviors that are appropriate (sitting nicely at the table and coloring, building with blocks) and behaviors that are inappropriate (knocking over blocks, standing on chairs). The kids yell out "Yes David" or "No David" depending on the behavior and its kind of a fun stress reliever when you, the teacher gets to stand on chairs, make a mess, etc. LOL! Enjoy!

I purchased 2 No David Activites, however I am having trouble downloading this one. It is only showing one page.
