There is no time like the present!
During this busy holiday season its easy to forget about the true meaning of this time of year. This idiom will help your students keep in mind that every moment is a chance to try something new, to take a risk, make a change, or do something you want to do! This 9 page file includes pictures, bullentin board inspiration, graphic organizers, and directions. This is a great lesson for goal setting or even New Year's Resolutions!
Love this, I'm going to use it as a New Year's activity and writing assignment. I think it's a great way to help my students become aware of the benefit of thinking about others.
At first thought this might be a little too young for my 4th graders but the activity was a hit! I didn't get to it until after Christmas but it worked out perfect kind of like a resolution!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are so happy EVERYONE enjoyed it! :)

These were so cute! We read Squirrel's New Year's Resolution and used the character's resolution as a sample before writing our own. The kids loved it and everyone is stopping by to open our presents!
What a great book to read before the activity! I'm so happy to hear it was a big hit! Thanks :)

I love your ideas! I would suggest adding lines for the students to write their ideas. I find big empty boxes are difficult for my students to use. Keep up the great work!
