This packet can be used as an alternative to Halloween! Students follow step by step illustrations to create five nocturnal animals to create a book that they can read when finished. An original book with facts about each animal is included. A WHO AM I? Matching game is included as well as paper for students to use to draw their favorite nocturnal animal and write about it. Real photographs of a bat, an owl, a firefly, a raccoon, and a moth are included as well as an interesting fact about each animal. Following the illustrations encourages sequencing and also improves handwriting and small motor control!
