This Unit is a wonderful addition to your Common Core reading and writing standards!! It includes:
2 page template for animal research that can be used in the rough draft stage of your Writer's Workshop. Students can take their template with them to the library or computer lab. This helps students narrow their facts into categories for later use.
Students can also publish a non-fiction book of their animal with the included pages:
