This was designed to help guide young writers through writing their own non-fiction book about the four seasons. It includes a web that has already been partially filled out to guide them through the organization of their information. It also has a ready to print booklet with a cover page, table of contents, writing pages, glossary and index. The illustrations in this book are partially filled out. The students use a bare tree and weather boy and girl to add appropriate clothes and environmental aspects of that season. I have included a PowerPoint as a visual aid. The PowerPoint has all of the parts included and helps the students use their web by having the section that goes with each page highlighted.
Write informative/explanatory texts in which they 2. name a topic, supply some facts about the topic, and provide some sense of closure.
