This activity was designed for upper-elementary students to practice identifying and locating common features of nonfiction text (photographs, captions, subtitles, etc). Student directions and an organization chart are included on these activity pages. All you need to complete this activity is a variety of nonfiction texts from your classroom. This activity can be used as a introduction or review of a nonfiction text unit. My students ALWAYS enjoy this activity!
