This document will enable primary and intermediate students to idenitfy nonfiction text features/text structure when reading a nonfiction text. Students will hunt for the title, subtitle, glossary, index, types of print, captions, inserts, etc. A motivating, hands-on way to help students become familiar with locating important text features and recalling their definitions! Enlarged clip art is included for teachers to create their own chart paper sized text structure organizer. This will enable teachers to model and provide closure to the lesson.
