Use these fun pages to practice reading NSF words. I put them in folders at the kids tables so they can practice them as a fast finisher or during a transition. I believe repetitive practice allows them to practice them correctly, which reinforces the concept of blending! Just my experience... and it works!

I appreciate your hard work. These look great. I am having difficulty with some of the words. For example, cib....harder than it looks. According to the phonics rule, the c would say /s/. At the kindergarten level this is tricky because we concentrate on c saying /k/. Let me know how you teach this. Do you focus on the rule of c being followed by a, o, and u makes hard c? and the other vowels make soft c? Great work!

I don't... but if you give me a sample, I could possibly create a freebie for you. I have had a lot of requests for more DIBELS practice pages but I am only familiar with kinder DIBELS. (And I have asked around and had trouble getting answers about other grades DIBELS, like it's top secret info.)

Silly, tricky pants words, indeed! Again, thanks for sharing a wonderful product and giving it away for free! I'm working with a small group of first graders who are trying to read these words quickly enough so as not to drag down their scores. I'm putting it to use tomorrow! Love Love Love this!! My school system is dibels obsessed! So the more practice the better. Would it be possible to get these in the same font as the letter naming? Some of my kids are confused by the font. I would truly appreciate it!

Hi...I really love the NSF DIBELS Practice Pages! I teach first grade. It will work great for a couple of my students that are struggling to meet benchmark. I was wondering if you could make a set using more blends/digraphs? I would be very interested in them! I truly appreciate your talent to make these type of products. Your students are very lucky to have you as a teacher.
