Students will take turns decoding short vowel words and sorting them by real and nonsense words. Take it one step further and have your students record the words on the recording sheet (included). 30 real words and 30 nonsense words are available. Play with all short vowels, or use just the vowels your students need to practice. (6 real per vowel and 6 nonsense per vowel.)
Use this game with your kindergarten or first grade students as well as second and third grade student who may need more short vowel work.
This game is perfect for small group intervention practice using the RTI model. Make decoding fun by playing this golf themed game!
