This handy note-taking guide prompts students to find the main ideas of a passage or text on their own.
Space is used to define new vocabulary using context clues from the text and take notes in outline form. The outline is set up so that students 1) identify the topic, 2) identify the main idea of a paragraph or section, 3) include supporting details, and 4) formulate their own examples.
This form can easily be used for many grade levels and subjects.
** Added bonus: the backside of this form includes a scoring guide that makes student feedback instant while still extremely helpful for the student.
