This is a complete PowerPoint featuring a page-by-page look at one of my student's fourth grade science notebooks. This powerpoint is also available on my blog at www.sciencenotebooking.blogspot.com.
Please look at the notes section underneath the main screen for comments on the lesson/activity.

This is what I have been looking for since August to help me with my science class! I want to include "fun" activities to help my students learn! You did a great job on your notebooking! THANKS SO MUCH! Lori
This is the single best lesson on the use of notebooking I have ever seen (and I have seen many different "explanations"). I will be implementing this style of notebooking next year and believe that your ppt and student guide will help make it more successful than ever. Thank you for providing this resource for free.
This is so cool. I love it. What books did you use to find all the information. It seems as if there was a lot of copying/printing done. I guess I would have to find an alternative for some of the ideas. Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow...Love how you gave examples of student work to help illustrate exactly what interactive notebooking looks like when implemented. I'm definitely going to try it this year with my students! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Thank you so much for doing this! I'm giving notebooking a try this year and this is exactly what I needed to get a visual on what they should look like!

Fantastic! I did notebooking the past year, but your example has given me some great ideas and a layout for the year. Thank you!

This is an invaluable resource. You have given such quality, well-thought out information that this can be used in many areas of study.
This is *excellent*. Thank you so much for sharing this work. I'd be interested in your guidelines at the beginning of the notebook if you put them up for sale. . .
I actually got the guidelines from someone else, who got them from someone else, etc. I'm looking at putting them up for free just because I get so many requests for them.

I am a teacher overseas, and I am teaching a short 1 hour workshop for other teachers overseas. I have done notebooks for 2 years, but I have learned so much as I am researching other teachers also doing notebooks. I would love to use your notebook example powerpoint for other teachers to see what it should look like. I will give them a link to your blog and your teachers pay teachers store. Would this be alright with you?
That is fine. Thank you for asking. Good luck with your presentation! I am jealous of your oversees status. It is one of my goals to teach oversees one day :)

I also love your notebook!! I was also wondering if I may buy more of you master from you? I would buy the whole thing! Thanks
I absolutely love your science notebooks! I am a second year teacher and I am looking for better ways to have my students use and organize their notebooks everywhere I can! I teach 5th grade science. I was just wondering where you got your resources for your notebook. Did you make them yourself? Like bhua (posted below) do you have a file of masters I could buy from you?
Sadly I don't have a master set I can put up for sale. Most of what I use in the classroom I find from a lot of different sources (textbook, Internet, etc.) so it is not 100% original. I can only sell original items on TpT for legal reasons.

I love your 4th grade science notebook. Do you have a file of black masters that I can buy from you?
Thanks,
Barbara

Is there a way to print the slides with the comments?
You can print presentation notes pages for your own use when delivering a presentation, or to include as handouts for your audience. You can design and format notes pages with colors, shapes, charts, and layout options.
From PowerPoint, you can print notes in Speaker Notes format, that is, each printed notes page includes a copy of the slide it refers to with the associated notes printed under the slide.
Print notes along with slide thumbnails
Open the presentation that has the notes pages you want to print.
On the File menu, click Print Preview.
On the Print Preview toolbar, in the Print What box, click Notes Pages.
To specify the page orientation, on the Print Preview toolbar, click Portrait or Landscape .
To set headers and footers, on the Print Preview toolbar, click Options, and then click Header and Footer .
On the Print Preview toolbar, click Print .
