This is a set of notes that provides outlines and sample paragraphs for student to form compare and contrast essays. The notes are structured so that students add the components to put the "puzzle" together. The sections included show how to create an introduction, similarities paragraph, differences paragraphs, and a conclusion. Students will be able to identify each part of a paragraph after the exercise. The notes can be adapted for middle school and high school writing.
