This unit on the Avi novel, Nothing But the Truth, is 21 pages and includes a 18 slide powerpoint presentation. Included in the unit are the following: anticipation guide, song web worksheet, plot line worksheet, character web worksheet, phraseology worksheet, comic strip worksheet, newspaper template, 3 sets of vocabulary words, 3 sets of review questions, a final test review, and 3 two page tests. A Key is included for all vocabulary worksheets, chapter questions, and tests. The powerpoint presentation is interactive, colorful, and fully animated. Created by Beverly Brown, this unit contains everything you will need to fully teach this intriguing novel.
I'm not sure why you cannot open the files. Do you have Microsoft Office? They are all publisher files. If you will send me your personal email, I will convert the files to PDFs and send them to your email.
I appreciate your kind comments and your purchase. Happy Teaching! Beverly

The description called this a unit and promised "everything you need to teach NBTT".
Units generally include lesson plans and explanations of the handouts or assignments. The creativity was great, but easy usability not present.
First of all, thank you for your comments. I'm sorry you are disappointed, but my description does not mention lesson plans. At this price point, units don't include lesson plans AND a powerpoint. The items are numbered in the order you would use them as you teach the novel. Also, an answer key is included in the unit. You'll find every item in this unit very appropriate and practical, unlike many mass produced units which contain more unusable and inappropriate items than not. Try it out, I don't think you'll regret your purchase. Thanks again for your comments.
Ask Beverly Brown a question. They will receive an automated email and will return to answer you as soon as possible.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
I am not able to open the files either. I have Publisher, but an error message comes up when I try to open the files while having the Publisher program open. Please help! Do you have the files in PDF format?
I am actually having the same problem as the user below. Could you contact me about what I can do to open the file? Thanks!

can not open the preview, can you send it another way? firstname.lastname@example.org
I sent you an email a few days ago regarding the "Nothing But the Truth" unit and powerpoint package that I purchased. I haven't yet received a response. Could you let me know when you'd be able to send me a .doc or .pdf version of all of the .pub files? My students and I eagerly await your help.
I apologize for your troubles. They are indeed publisher files. Give me a little time, and I will convert them to PDFs and email them to you. I will try my best to get this done and send it to you tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

I'm sorry, this is a confusing site, I am referring to the "Nothing But the Truth" Unit and Powerpoint for $9.50. Thank you,
I will buy this as soon as I can see the samples and make sure I can open them. Thank you for your quick response
Most of the documents are created on Microsoft Office Publisher. If you have Microsoft Office 2003, you have Publisher.
Thanks for your interest,

I purchased your unit on NBTT, and it looks awesome! Questions for Ch. 1-6 though were not included. A page "4" is missing, so I wonder if page 4 is the missing questions. I just started teaching this novel today, so if you could send to my personal email address I would greatly appreciate it! Also, I don't have any sound files. Thank you for creating a wonderful unit! email@example.com

I ordered this, but do you have a lesson plan? I am not sure where you fit the Green Day Song into the unit. Also, I would love the sound files to the PowerPoint; you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank You! =)
